My Story
I developed a passion for handicrafts in my youth, inspired by my mother and grandmother, who always sewed, knit, embroidered, or crocheted. In 1992, my then-American neighbour taught me patchwork, appliqué, and quilting. Ten years and countless quilts later, I discovered free motion machine embroidery, which quickly became my passion and continues to be.

I love experimenting with different materials, combining layers of fabric, and seeing my textile art take on a life of its own stitch by stitch. The choice of colour is essential to me. I work with various materials: multi-coloured and metallic threads, beads, and textiles of all kinds, but also non-traditional materials like paper, metal, Tyvek, trans foils, and candy wrappers.

Originally from Germany, I now live in Hong Kong and the South of France.
Workshops and Courses
I offer workshops and courses for individuals and groups of all ages and levels in English, French, and German.

I am always happy when I can pass on my knowledge, skills, and techniques. It is nice to see my students develop their creativity and return home pleased with a beautiful book cover at the end of the class.

I teach in my studio in Hong Kong or the south of France, but also in craft retreats or educational institutions.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you want to know more about my courses.
